"At Justice for Samson Animal Rescue, our mission is to protect and improve the lives of animals by providing rescue, rehabilitation, and responsible rehoming services. Through community education, advocacy, and partnerships, we aim to reduce animal suffering and homelessness, promote compassionate care, and create a world where all animals are treated with respect and kindness."
Justice for Samson provides life-saving care to the forgotten and misunderstood dogs of Texas left to fend for themselves on the streets or deemed too dangerous to ever be loved. Regardless of the level of need, we know that every dog deserves the chance to heal, no matter what it takes.

Thank you to our amazing adopters! We could not continue to save animals without each of you.
Thank you to our sponsors. Without you there would be no animal rescue named Justice for Samson!
Fall is here! We are looking for big changes!! Beginning with a new sanctuary. Though my dream is to own 10 or even 20 acres. I realize we have to start small.
We have a few places that are owner financed. Watch for updates. Below you will find our plan:
Help Us Build a Safe Haven for BSL Breeds and All Animals in Need Hi everyone,
WE are Justice for Samson, a dedicated animal welfare rescue with a special focus on breeds affected by Breed-Specific Legislation (BSL). Our mission is to provide a safe and loving environment for all animals, regardless of their breed, while working tirelessly to reduce the stray dog population through education and advocacy.
As many of you know, BSL breeds such as Pit Bulls, Rottweilers, and Dobermans often face unjust discrimination and limited adoption opportunities. These loving and loyal dogs are frequently misunderstood, leading to overcrowded shelters and, tragically, euthanasia. Our goal is to change this narrative and give every dog a chance at a happy, healthy life. Why We Need Your Help Currently, our facilities are limited, and we are struggling to meet the growing demand for our services. We want to expand and create a state-of-the-art facility that can accommodate more animals and provide them with the care they deserve.
Our vision includes: 1. Spacious Kennels and Play Areas: To ensure each dog has enough space to exercise and socialize, promoting their physical and mental well-being.
2. Medical and Rehabilitation Center: To offer on-site veterinary care, rehabilitation for injured animals, and a quarantine area for sick pets.
3. Training and Enrichment Programs: To help rehabilitate dogs with behavioral issues, making them more adoptable and better companions.
4. Community Education and Outreach: To educate the public on responsible pet ownership, the importance of spaying/neutering, and dispelling myths about BSL breeds.
How You Can Help We need to raise 300,000 to make this dream a reality. Your generous donation will directly impact the lives of countless animals, giving them a second chance at life.
Here’s how your contribution can help:
$75.00 will provide food and basic supplies for one dog for a week.
$100 will cover a veterinary check-up and vaccinations.
$100 will sponsor a training session for a dog with behavioral issues.
$500 will contribute to building new kennels and play areas.
$1,000 will support the construction of our medical and rehabilitation center.
Every Dollar Counts No donation is too small.
Every dollar brings us closer to creating a sanctuary where all animals, especially those affected by BSL, can feel safe and loved.
We also appreciate shares on social media, spreading the word about our cause to reach as many animal lovers as possible. Thank you for your support and for believing in our mission.
Together, we can build a brighter future for these deserving animals.
With gratitude Lori Brandon Founding Director

Falcor is a great dog. though he weighs 175 lbs. He loves his human. He needs breed specific owner. He is big and playful. When he pounces the entire house shakes. He enjoys being outside in cooler weather. In the AC in these hot Texas summers. He does good with cats and other dogs. Please feed separate. because of his back story he tends to be a little food aggressive.
Falcor is housebroken. Will let you know when he needs out. He scratches the door to come back inside.
His daily routine consists of wake up, go outside (usually 30 to 45 min. Then he is ready to come inside and have his breakfast. He gets 6 c of kibble, 1 can of gravy wet food and the rest raw. He loves sweet potatoes peeled. Will eat raw, cooked or frozen.
He has a fetish for Bully Sticks!! beef jerky and treat that consist of meat. He also likes large milk bones.
This boy has never really had a good home where he was cherished. He was found wandering the streets of Mexico. A lady drove to Mexica an brought him to Texas.
He loves to be brushed and play with other dogs. see our featured pet this month. We have shared more of Falcors current status.
